Rocky Mountain Freestyle

Welcome to Rocky Mountain Freestyle -- your source for amateur freestyle skiing in the Rocky Mountain region. Rocky Mountain Freestyle (RMF) is a non-profit division of the United States Ski and Snowboard Association (USSA), as sanctioned by the United States Olympic Committee. Rocky Mountain Freestyle produces over thirty USSA-sanctioned freestyle events each season – including moguls, dual moguls, aerials, slopestyle and half pipe events. Events are hosted at major resorts across the Rocky Mountains including Arapahoe Basin, Aspen, Durango, Keystone, Steamboat, Telluride, Vail and Winter Park. Rocky Mountain Freestyle has been the home to many US Freestyle Ski Team and Olympic athletes. We have a lot to offer!

Rocky Mountain Freestyle offers two levels of competition for our freestyle athletes. The first is a Developmental (Devo) program that is primarily intended for entry and mid-level athletes up to the age of 12 (some exceptions apply). This fun program offers age-class competitions and usually only requires a youth-level USSA and Rocky Division Youth membership. The next step in competitor progression is our Competitive Series program that offers full USSA sanctioned competitions. Competitors receive points on the USSA national points list. More details about each of these two programs are available on the Main Menu links on the left.

Announcements Rocky Mountain Freestyle has scheduled our final on-snow jump qualifier for Thursday, February 25th, at Winter Park at 1:30pm. Chris "Seedog" Seemann will be the qualifying coach. The cost is $20 if paid by February 23rd and $40 for "drop-in" athletes who are not pre-registered. Checks should be made payable to Rocky Mountain Freestyle and mailed to division chairman:

Craig Matthews
PO Box 1954
Frisco, CO 80443

There is no form to fill out. Just include a short note with your check to indicate the athlete's name who is registering. This is the last jump qualifier before Junior Olympics! Please don't delay to register.

Athletes need to make sure to bring a copy of their water ramp certification paperwork to the on-snow qualifier to show to Seedog.
